The Malta Dynamics 11’ Pygmy Hog Self-Retracting Lifeline (SRL) series delivers a lightweight, durable, and highly portable fall protection solution for daily jobsite use. Both models are Class 1 SRLs designed for anchorage above the back D-ring and feature a 360° swivel top for smooth movement. Each unit can be used individually or paired in a dual-SRL setup for 100% tie-off.
The Pygmy Hog SRLs are engineered with rugged thermoplastic polymer housings, reliable braking systems, and lifelines designed for high visibility and durability. Both versions support workers up to 310 lbs., meeting all applicable OSHA and ANSI standards.

Inspection Tips
- Check the fall indicator—remove from service if activated
- Ensure the snap or rebar hook opens and closes properly and is not deformed
- Verify all housing labels, hardware, and fasteners are intact
- Inspect the entire lifeline for frays, cuts, kinks, burns, or tangles
- Perform a strike test to confirm proper brake engagement
