The course material covers OSHA regulations, ANSI Z359 requirements, harness fitting, proper donning, rescue procedures and the responsibilities of safety managers and safety directors.
Additionally, the training course includes modules on Ladders and Horizontal Lifelines, Steel Erectors and Aerial Lifts, Confined Spaces and Excavation Sites and Scaffolding Safety and fall protection and rescue plans.
8-Hour Competent Person Training
The Malta Dynamics 8-hour Competent Person Refresher Course is a streamlined, one-day session tailored for individuals who have previously completed the full 16-hour training. This refresher provides an updated review of essential fall protection principles, including OSHA 1926 and 1910 regulations, ANSI standards, and the responsibilities of a competent person.
Participants revisit key areas such as harness fitting, equipment inspection, proper maintenance, and storage. The course also covers rescue operations, penalties, citations, and statistics, along with hands-on practice. Additional focus is given to ladders, horizontal lifelines, scaffolds, steel erectors, and aerial lifts, ensuring a comprehensive review of fall protection protocols.
4-Hour Authorized User Training
The Malta Dynamics 4-Hour Authorized Fall Protection User Training Course is designed to equip workers with the essential skills and knowledge to safely use fall protection equipment. Covering critical safety standards such as OSHA 1926 and 1910 regulations and ANSI Z359 requirements, this course emphasizes proper selection, inspection, and application of fall arrest systems, including harnesses, lanyards, and self-retracting lifelines (SRLs).
Participants gain hands-on experience in harness donning, anchor point identification, and calculating fall clearance distance. At Malta Dynamics, our Fall Protection Inspection Service is designed to keep your jobsite safe and compliant. Our Competent Persons perform a thorough visual inspection of your fall protection equipment, including harnesses, lanyards and self-retracting lifelines. We look for defective components, damage, or wear that could compromise the integrity of your gear.
Each fall protection equipment inspection follows ANSI Z359 standards, OSHA guidelines and the manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring your personal protective equipment is ready for use. We document everything—providing clear inspection records and a certificate of compliance to support your occupational safety program.

Mobile Grabber Fall Protection Inspection
The Malta Dynamics XSERIES Mobile Fall Protection Unit Inspection Service ensures your unit is inspected annually by an experienced Competent Person, as required by safety regulations. While your team is responsible for ensuring the unit is inspected at least once a year, we offer the convenience of having the manufacturer perform this inspection for you.
Our thorough assessment provides peace of mind, confirming all safety components are functioning properly. After the inspection, we provide detailed documentation for your records, certifying that the unit is safe and compliant for another year of operation.

Mobile Grabber User Training
The Malta Dynamics XSERIES Mobile Fall Protection Training is designed for workers responsible for using and operating the XSERIES Mobile Grabber units. This course ensures participants are fully prepared to safely operate the Mobile Grabber in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Led by an authorized trainer, the program includes classroom and hands-on instruction, covering essential topics such as pre-use inspections, operating and positioning the Mobile Grabber, towing procedures, counterweight placement, maintenance, fall hazard assessments, and selecting compatible fall protection equipment.
