Description
At Malta Dynamics, we prioritize the convenience of fall protection. Our curated construction safety kit bundles feature essential fall protection equipment, including the Warthog full body harness and a shock-absorbing dual-leg lanyard.
The Warthog full body harness included in our roofing safety kit is designed to support workers weighing 130-310 lbs. It features pass-thru chest, shoulder, and leg buckles for a secure fit, crafted with high-quality materials like high-strength nylon and polyester webbing, and a durable galvanized steel D-ring. The harness also includes breakaway lanyard keepers and adjustable chest, leg, and shoulder straps for personalized comfort. With proper maintenance, this harness ensures safety and compliance for years.
Our safety harness fall protection kit also includes a vertical lifeline assembly (VLA) made of high-strength poly-rope with a self-locking snap hook and rope grab positioning device. Ideal for various applications such as roofing and tower climbing, the VLA features reinforced 3-strand poly-rope with a minimum breaking strength of 5,000 lbs. and supports workers weighing 130-310 lbs.
The Malta Dynamics Reusable Roof Anchor is a 21” heavy-duty anchor designed for temporary use on wood rooftops. With a discreet profile and durable construction, it supports workers in the same weight range and fits a range of roof pitches.
Completing the roofer’s harness kit is a Malta Dynamics duffle bag made from 50% recycled material, offering mobility and organization with two zippered compartments, durable carry handles, and a shoulder strap. Get ready for your next job with all your safety equipment in one place!

Fall Hazard Mitigation
To ensure workplace safety, our equipment is engineered to address every fall hazard. Each piece of gear is rigorously tested and designed to bring the user to a complete stop, minimizing the risk of a free fall. Our innovative connecting devices and separate lifeline systems provide independent lines of protection, greatly enhancing fall prevention measures.
Secure Anchorage and Strength
Built with high quality materials that offer exceptional durability and minimum tensile strength, our anchorage connectors are crafted to firmly secure the connected member. This design not only limits maximum force exerted on the user but also maintains a safe fall clearance distance, ensuring that even in a fully extended position, safety is not compromised.
Reliability and Compliance
Our fall protection equipment is thoroughly inspected for any defective components to maintain a high level of reliability. The wire rope and connecting hardware are designed to withstand the maximum forces encountered during a fall and to ensure a qualified person can safely operate at heights.
Safety in Design and Materials
Lifelines are an essential part of the fall restraint system, allowing for full mobility while preventing falls. Each connecting device is crafted to seamlessly integrate with the full body harness, ensuring the system functions as a unified whole to safeguard against fall hazards.
Confidence at Heights
Empowering users with confidence in their safety gear, our fall protection equipment is designed to limit free fall distance effectively. The inclusion of a shock-absorbing device ensures that the force of a fall is mitigated, making certain that work can proceed with the knowledge that the potential for injury is significantly reduced.

What's Included
Each kit ships with four components:
Warthog Full Body Harness
The safety harness is the foundation of any personal fall arrest system. Choose from six Warthog models in sizes S-M through 3XL, supporting workers weighing 130–310 lbs. Each harness connects at the dorsal D-Ring, the required attachment point for fall arrest, and is constructed with high-strength nylon and polyester webbing, a galvanized steel D-Ring, pass-thru or tongue-and-buckle hardware depending on model selected, breakaway lanyard keepers, and adjustable chest, leg, and shoulder straps for a personalized fit.
Vertical Lifeline Assembly (VLA)
Available in 25' or 50' lengths, the VLA serves as the primary fall restraint system connecting your harness to a secure anchorage point. It features reinforced 3-strand poly-rope with sufficient strength, a minimum breaking strength of 5,000 lbs., a self-locking snap hook, and a rope grab positioning device with an 18" lanyard extension. The integrated shock absorber limits fall arrest forces on the body by extending deceleration distance, reducing peak impact load during an arrested fall. Built for roofing, tower climbing, ladder safety systems, and general vertical work.
Reusable Roof Anchor
A reliable anchorage connector is non-negotiable in any fall prevention setup. The Malta Dynamics 21" heavy-duty reusable roof anchor is designed for temporary use on wood rooftops, with low-profile construction compatible with a range of roof pitches. Built with sufficient strength to meet OSHA standard anchorage requirements, it supports workers in the same 130-310 lb. weight range and is rated as a single-person anchorage point.
Equipment Duffle Bag
Made from 50% recycled material with two zippered compartments, durable carry handles, and a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap. Sized at 18"x10"x10" to keep your full system organized and ready to move.
All components meet ANSI Z359.13-13, ANSI A10.32-12, OSHA 1926 Subpart M, and OSHA 1910.
Frequently Asked Questions
Not seeing what you're looking for?
What's the difference between the 25' and 50' vertical lifeline assembly options?
What's the difference between the 25' and 50' vertical lifeline assembly options?
The length determines how far below your anchorage point you can safely work while maintaining adequate free fall protection. The 25' VLA is suited for most standard roofing and elevated work applications. The 50' option is better for taller structures, tower climbing, or ladder safety system setups where your anchorage point is set significantly above your work area. If you're unsure which fits your jobsite, our team can help. Call (855) 781-9917.
Which harness model should I choose?
Which harness model should I choose?
The right harness depends on your work environment and personal preference. The Pass-Thru models offer fast donning and doffing, the Tongue and Buckle models provide a traditional secure fit, the side D-Ring models add fall restraint positioning capability, and the Comfort MAXX offers additional padding for all-day wear. All models connect at the D-Ring for compliant fall arrest. Use the harness comparison chart on this page for a side-by-side breakdown.
What sizes are available, and how do I know which one fits?
What sizes are available, and how do I know which one fits?
Harnesses are available in S-M, L-XL, 2XL, and 3XL, all rated for workers weighing 130-310 lbs. Proper fit is critical to limiting fall arrest forces and maintaining safe deceleration distance during an arrested fall. Refer to the size chart linked on this page for chest, waist, and leg measurements before ordering.
Can I use this kit for applications other than roofing?
Can I use this kit for applications other than roofing?
Yes. While the reusable roof anchor is designed specifically for temporary use on wood rooftops, the harness and vertical lifeline assembly function as a full fall restraint system across a range of elevated work, including construction, tower climbing, ladder safety systems, and general fall hazard environments.
Does this kit include a shock-absorbing lanyard?
Does this kit include a shock-absorbing lanyard?
The vertical lifeline assembly included in this kit features a built-in shock absorber that limits fall arrest forces and extends deceleration distance during a fall event. Malta Dynamics also carries shock-absorbing lanyards or retractable lifelines if needed. Contact our team for guidance on the right configuration for your jobsite.
Is this kit OSHA compliant right out of the bag?
Is this kit OSHA compliant right out of the bag?
All components meet ANSI Z359.13-13, ANSI A10.32-12, OSHA 1926 Subpart M, and OSHA 1910, the core OSHA standard for personal protective equipment in fall protection. Compliance on a jobsite depends on proper use, a current rescue plan, and oversight by a qualified person. Malta Dynamics' training and inspection services can support all three.
What happens if a component is involved in a fall?
What happens if a component is involved in a fall?
Any piece of fall protection gear that has arrested a fall must be removed from service immediately, regardless of visible damage. A qualified person should inspect all components, including the anchorage connector, harness, and lifeline, before any equipment is returned to use. Components showing wear indicators should be replaced. See Malta Dynamics' equipment inspection services for support.
