How Do Fall Protection Harnesses Work?

One of the main purposes of a fall prevention harness is to protect vital organs when a fall is arrested. OSHA regulations specify that personal fall arrest systems, when used together with a body harness, must limit the arresting force on a worker to no more than 1,800 pounds.
