SKU: VARIOUS. When working on jobsites, you encounter a variety of safety hazards from every angle, that’s why proper head protection is essential. The Malta Dynamics Type 1 Safety Helmets meet the ANSI standard Z89.1-2014 for Type 1 Class C Helmets. This means they’re rated for impact to the top of your head. These helmets go one step further and are also tested to meet the EN397-2012 standard.
These safety helmets come in a variety of colors and boast a comfort-conscious design that features a 6-point suspension system, and a ratchet system allows you to tighten or loosen the fit to your preference. You can also order a safety helmet with a clear or tinted visor for added protection, and it will stay clear of fog even with long-term daily use. Every type 1 helmet has an adjustable chin strap to keep it securely in place if impact occurs. The chin strap also features a special added loop so you can easily attach it to your harness.
The Malta Dynamics line of safety helmets fit nice and low on your head instead of hoisted up on the top of the crown. They are designed to be the most comfortable helmet on the market and are equipped with strong lamp carrying clips, that are compatible with all elastic banded headlamps on the market. These helmets are also compatible with most available ear protection attachments.
Type 1 helmets from Malta Dynamics offer the flexibility and comfort your workers desire, along with the durability you need for peace of mind.
Buy a Safety Helmet With a Visor
Adding a visor to a safety helmet can make it easier for your employees to do their jobs. Standard safety glasses often need to be repositioned, but a visor keeps the lens completely off your face, freeing up your hands and eliminating pressure behind your ears.
A clear or tinted visor is the perfect accessory for your Malta Dynamics Safety Helmet. Our visors are made from high-strength plastic and meet the ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2015 impact rating standard. The tinted visors are 99% ultraviolet (UV)-resistant to shield your eyes from the sun’s powerful rays.
What’s more, these visors are easy to use and maintain. They have a hinge feature that allows you to adjust the visor, so it’s there when you need it and stowed away when you don’t. They also have an anti-scratch lens with a rimless design that’s easy to clean — just use warm water and soap.
Our Safety Helmets Are Field-Tested and Worker-Approved
When you buy Malta Dynamics Safety Helmets, you can rest assured your workers will be safe, comfortable and compliant while wearing them. Our crew uses all of our safety equipment in the field and provides feedback to help us make our products as user-friendly and efficient as possible. SKU: VARIOUS. When your business tackles projects that involve working at heights, it's imperative to have a personal fall arrest protection system to keep your workers safe. Falls are one of the leading causes of serious injury and death, making harnesses a necessity. Safety harnesses reduce the impact of a fall and keep workers in an upright, elevated position.
At Malta Dynamics, we are a top source for fall protection solutions. Our harnesses, which can connect to safety lines, help protect and keep your business in compliance. Both the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) have certain standards which must be followed at all times to prevent workplace injuries.
With our equipment — like the Warthog Full-Body Universal Harness with Side D-Rings — you can feel confident knowing that even if your workers are at an elevated height or walking along unprotected sides and edges, they will be safe daily.
The Warthog Side D-Ring Harness has dual lanyard keepers to hold lanyards out of the way while working. The Warthog also comes with a Premium Velcro Label Jacket to protect the labels on the job site. The Warthog is designed for efficiency and affordability while meeting the strict ANSI and OSHA testing requirements and standards. (Various Sizes Available)
Why Choose Our Safety Harness Kits and D-Ring Harnesses?
When you're working at heights, you need a safety harness that will keep you secure throughout the day. With the Warthog full body harness, you get reliable support across your body with tongue and buckle leg straps as well as sturdy nylon and polyester construction. Safety D-Rings on each side offer simple tying off and work positioning for any environment.
Pair our safety harness with accessories like a Suspension Trauma Relief Strap or D Ring Extender for greater security and peace of mind. Use a tool lanyard to keep your critical devices at your side. With lanyard keepers built into the harness straps, your lanyard will stay close by without interrupting your workflow.
Additional features of the Side D-harness include new reflective material for better visibility in dark spaces and ID labels with protective jackets. Tags are vital for keeping your equipment organized and understanding all features and components of the equipment. With a protective cover, your label stays clear and readable, even after several tough jobs.
Warthog safety harnesses can handle 130 to 310 pounds, making them a dynamic solution for many workers on your team. When you use a Side D-harness, you get the guaranteed safety of OSHA and ANSI compliance for any application.
Harness and Lanyard Kit Applications
Working at heights is a standard in the construction industry. Whether you're working on scaffolding for a building project or hanging over water for bridge development, our harnesses offer the strength and security you need.
Our safety harnesses also work well for general maintenance in buildings. When you're on high ladders or using powered platforms, OSHA requires fall protection. Our harnesses are also valuable in warehouses and industrial settings as well as for telecommunications and the marine sector.
Our harness systems are ideal for environments like:
Telephone poles
Ship decks and barges
Elevators
Manlifts

How to Adjust the Safety Harness Kits to Achieve the Correct Fit
Equipping your workers with Warthog harnesses helps ensure they are protected while on the job. Making sure the new harness fits each worker properly is just as important. Doing this enables the safety features to function as they should.
Here's how to find the right fit:
Hold the harness by the back D-Ring and shake it out, then unfasten any straps.
Put the shoulder straps on and make sure the D-Ring stays centered on your back.
Put the leg straps on and attach those straps snugly onto the connector.
Attach the waist belt, if your harness has one.
Connect the chest strap, keeping it around 6 to 8 inches below your throat.
Keep Your Job Site Safe and Compliant With the Safety Harness Kit
Here at Malta Dynamics, we have over three decades of experience working in the construction industry. With our firsthand knowledge and expertise, we've become a trusted industry leader, providing safety equipment to sectors across the nation — ranging from warehousing to manufacturing.

SKU: VARIOUS. Overview of Vertical Lifeline Assemblies
A vertical lifeline assembly (VLA) is a complete connector kit for fall protection that consists of a high-strength poly-rope with a self-locking snap hook and a rope grab positioning device for you to use as your connector. A worker might typically use a fall protection vertical lifeline for applications like roofing, ladder climbing, general construction and tower climbing.
A VLA can be used as part of a personal fall arrest system to bring the worker’s body to a safe stop if a fall occurs, but they are most commonly used in fall restraint scenarios to actively limit the distance from an anchor that a worker can reach so that they avoid the fall hazard completely.
The Malta Dynamics temporary vertical assembly lifelines are made up of the strongest lifeline safety equipment available on the market today. The 3-strand poly-rope is reinforced to create a high-strength vertical lifeline that has a minimum breaking strength of 5,000 lbs. and supports a worker weight range from 130-310 lbs.
The poly-rope is UV resistant and tested to meet the lifeline rope specification for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The vertical lifeline rope is terminated by stitching with a plastic cap and comes equipped with self-locking alloy steel snap hooks for a quick and reliable attachment to an anchor.
The poly-rope seamlessly connects with a rope grab positioning device. The rope grab acts as the connector between the full body harness and the poly-rope and must be locked into position to ensure fall hazards are avoided.
The Malta Dynamics rope grab is operated manually and is equipped with an 18” extension lanyard and a shock pack. The shock absorption pack is built into the leg of the rope grab and adds a premium feature to the extension lanyard that will help dissipate force on the body if a fall is arrested.
The Malta Dynamics VLA has been rigorously tested to the strict vertical lifeline requirements of OSHA and ANSI. The vertical lifeline satisfies OSHA 1926 Subpart M, OSHA 1910, ANSI Z359.1-07 and ANSI A10.32-12.
Why Vertical Lifeline Assemblies?
Vertical lifeline assemblies available through Malta Dynamics are engineered to protect individual workers from falls while working at heights. When your employees need to work high above the ground, dependable VLA technology is essential for completing their jobs safely. Enable your team to finish jobs by the deadline and significantly reduce the chance of a serious injury occurring.
We supply teams with vertical lifeline assemblies in more than one size, so you have zero limitations on the clock. Pick up 25', 50' or 100' VLAs to support workers in case of a fall. Our fall protection vertical lifeline assemblies are useful for jobs that require more than a traditional ladder to install systems or oversee repairs. Set your workers up to arrest and restrain falls with a single device.
Components of a Vertical Lifeline Assembly
There are multiple pieces of a vertical lifeline assembly for proper function as fall protection equipment. Malta Dynamics outlines some of the main parts of a VLA below:
Rope Grabs
A rope grab is a primary connector that bridges the gap between the safety harness and the rope that fastens to an anchor. The user can move rope grabs into various positions on a poly-rope. Your employees should set the rope grabs where they need to access an area for a job and avoid touching the device during a fall. The rope grab in a vertical lifeline assembly stops the rope from sliding up or down on its own.
You can think of rope grabs as the main locking mechanism that keeps a worker connected to the VLA.
Shock Packs
The shock pack in a VLA fastens to the rope grab. These devices are responsible for absorbing the kinetic energy generated by a person in free fall. Your VLA systems call for shock packs to reduce the chances of workers experiencing severe physical trauma during an incident.
Advantages of a Fall Protection Vertical Lifeline Assembly
Purchasing vertical lifelines from Malta Dynamics comes with a long list of benefits. Review the details below to get an idea of how these systems can streamline your operations for maximum efficiency:
Vertical lifeline assemblies can be used within indoor and outdoor environments.
Malta Dynamics vertical lifelines are compact in size and user-friendly.
Users can move our VLAs between sites easily.
Our technology requires little maintenance between uses and takes seconds to store.
Using a Vertical Lifeline Assembly System
Our fall protection VLAs can be configured on the job quickly. Set up your VLA by fastening the included rope to a nearby anchor point with a snap hook. Employees should measure a safe distance from the anchor point to the edge of a walking surface, leaving extra room for the shock pack in case it deploys. Finally, the rope grab can be used to finalize your position on the poly-rope. Lock the rope grab and move about the space freely.
Jobs Where Vertical Lifeline Systems Are Necessary
Vertical lifeline assembly systems are useful for those working in construction and other industries where employees work near rooftop edges. Use a vertical lifeline system whenever a ladder does not allow you to reach the working height required to finish a job safely.
Our professionals see project and safety managers purchase vertical lifeline systems for teams handling electrical installations, solar panels, plumbing equipment, railings, skylights, painting jobs and similar tasks at height.
How to Choose a VLA System
When selecting fall protection VLAs, you should start by shopping for equipment through a reputable supplier like Malta Dynamics. Not all VLAs on the market are constructed with high-quality materials, but our company focuses on supplying you with equipment that meets OSHA compliance standards for your industry.
Our VLAs for sale come with snap hooks and connectors engineered with durable materials like steel. Additionally, the webbing materials featured across our VLAs are made with high-strength polyester and nylon for equipment that will serve you well in the long term.
Choosing a VLA system will require you to look at a few physical features and performance characteristics — rope size, minimum breaking strength and worker weight capacity range. For your convenience, Malta Dynamics carries VLA technology in 25', 50' and 100' sizes to help your team complete jobs confidently. The 5,000-pound minimum breaking strength is suitable for demanding applications, and the ability to support workers weighing up to 310 pounds keeps your team flexible during assignments.
Looking to see all that comes with a VLA system is an excellent way for you to plan ahead. Our experts offer you complete vertical lifeline assemblies that come with poly-rope, a shock pack, a positioning device and an extension lanyard for a fast setup process.

SKU: A6350/51 Family. Working at heights is a dangerous job, that’s why a reliable roof anchor point and personal fall arrest system an essential part of your rooftop safety system. The Cross Arm Strap is one of the most cost effective and versatile anchor options available on the market today. The anchorage point can be looped over a steel support beam, structural wood member, or any structure deemed suitable by a competent person. The 4’ and 6’ cross arm strap can be used in a variety of fall protection applications like in a basket, saddle, or choker configuration and is a great addition to your fall safety kit as a reusable, reliable anchorage connector.
To install the beamer, simply wrap the strap around a steel beam, or similar structure, and pass the small D-Ring through the larger D-Ring to create an anchorage point that you’ll connect your lanyard or lifeline to. Once the small D-Ring is pulled through the pass-thru loop (the larger D-Ring), you have an anchor point that is both ANSI and OSHA compliant. Installation using multiple wraps of the Cross Arm Strap is also acceptable.
This strap is equipped with a heavy-duty wear pad to protect the structural webbing against abrasion, helping to increase service life of the fall protection device. The Cross Arm Strap is compatible for use with all ANSI rated lanyards and self-retracting lifelines, and the Malta Dynamics signature orange accent colors make it easy to locate even from ground level.
Malta Dynamics Cross Arm Anchor Straps are intended for use as part of a Personal Fall Arrest System and must be used only in combination with other components designed for such use in compatible systems.

SKU: LE7050-G2. When your employees work at heights, they need the right fall protection equipment. If they're working near a leading edge, a standard, portable self-retracting lifeline (SRL) isn't enough to keep them safe. Most SRL components aren't tested to withstand the sharp edges workers may encounter when tying off at foot level.
At Malta Dynamics, we've developed fall protection systems that allow workers to enjoy all the perks of an SRL while protecting them near leading edges. Our Leading Edge 50' w/ Snap Hook is the longest Leading Edge product in our inventory. It features a 360-degree swivel top connection point that allows the durable thermoplastic housing to rotate as the person moves. This SRL also has a sturdy galvanized steel cable with a built-in strike test grip for added safety.
Our Leading Edge 50' w/ Snap Hook has been tested to meet the strict standards of ANSI Z359.14-2021, and OSHA 1926 Subpart M and OSHA 1910.

How to Inspect Your Leading Edge SRL Correctly
Inspecting equipment before every use is crucial to your employees' safety. Follow these pre-use inspection tips to keep your Leading Edge fall protection system in good condition for years to come:
1. Examine Metal Components
Before using your Leading Edge SRL, inspect the:
Fall indicator: The fall indicator is located at your SRL's connection point. If it has been tripped, you'll see a red indicator. You should not use the device if the fall indicator is tripped.
Snap hook: Check to make sure the SRL's snap hook opens and closes correctly. Press on the gate to confirm it can't be forced open and ensure the snap hook isn't bent or deformed in any way.
2. Inspect the Housing
Ensure all of the fasteners are present and tightened, and check the label for the manufacture date, part number, serial number and batch number.
3. Check the Cable
If the cable gets tangled in the housing, the SRL won't arrest a fall. Examine the entire length of the cable for cuts, burns, frays, kinks or tears.
4. Perform a Strike Test
To test your SRL's braking mechanism, grip the handle and quickly pull down on the cable. Place all the force above the fall indicator so you avoid accidentally triggering it. If the brakes don't engage, you should remove the SRL from service.

When attached to the ridge of a wooden roof and used with compatible safety systems, this safety anchor helps limit the forces associated with fall arrest. It was built to be used with other components of a PFAS that limit maximum arrest forces to 900 lbs. or less.
Designed for wood rooftops and permanent applications, the Malta Dynamics roof safety anchors have two D-Ring ends made from top-quality metal (alloy steel) and an 18″ stainless steel body for an exceptionally long life. Like all products at Malta Dynamics, the Permanent Roof Anchor is entirely compliant with all applicable ANSI and OSHA regulations. The Permanent Anchor is designed for ease of installation and built to withstand the toughest environments, ideal for both residential maintenance and construction work.
The tensile breaking strength of this rugged stainless steel roof anchor is a minimum of 5,000 lbs. (22.2 kN) in ANSI testing. Even with such powerful capabilities, it weighs just under 1 lb. and features a sleek, discreet appearance. Its unique pre-drilled hole layout also helps minimize truss damage that could occur during installation. Fasteners (nails) are included, too, so you can be confident in the installation.
Using these permanent roof anchors alongside the right safety harness can help you create safer, easier fall protection for your team. Browse our selection of harnesses and harness accessories for high-quality equipment from the industry leaders at Malta Dynamics.
How to Install a Permanent Roof Anchor
Permanent roof anchor installation is straightforward with this Malta Dynamics fall protection anchor. You can spend less time installing and more time getting to work. Before installing the safety anchor, carefully inspect it, along with the roof’s trusses, rafters, and structural members. You’ll need to ensure the roof is structurally sound and that the permanent roof anchor is not damaged in any way. You will also need to select a site that meets OSHA requirements, including minimized swing fall hazards and a limited free-fall distance of less than 6 feet.
All employees must be trained by a Competent Person, as defined by OSHA. Explore our training options if your team needs a refresher on fall protection awareness.
Permanent roof anchor installation instructions are as follows:
Ensure you are working on a roof constructed of wood, the permanent roof anchor is not designed for metal roof materials.
Remove 1-2 pieces of the ridge cap if installing on residential roofing with asphalt shingles, shakes, or tile.
Center the anchorage device on the ridge of the framing assembly and position it so the nail holes on the center of the legs are directly centered with the middle of the roof framing member.
Use 16d common nails to secure the bracket with all provided nail holes. No nails should split the timber or protrude through the side of the members
These steps are a brief overview of the installation procedures required for this permanent roof anchor for fall protection — see the manual for more comprehensive instructions and use guidelines.

SKU: C9000-G2. Working at elevated heights is no easy feat and sadly 42 percent of construction worker deaths involve falls. That’s why we put so much emphasis on quality safety fall protection equipment and education. We created the uniquely engineered Hybrid Hog Self-Retracting Lifeline to meet the strict standards of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and ANSI (American National Standards Institute).
We’ve expertly designed one SRL that meets the rigorous standards of both OSHA and ANSI for SRL Class 1. A lower maximum arresting force significantly improves the safety factor of the device, and the MAF of the Hybrid Hog SRL is 900lbs! This compact, lightweight, and durable design makes transporting and storage easy, and it even comes with a convenient carry handle!
The Hybrid Hog retractable lifeline features 360° swivel top and bottom connection points to help save time and effort when clipping in and out. We know that working in the field can be hard on your equipment, so we’ve built this SRL with a galvanized steel cable and connectors. The connections and cable work in harmony with the housing to ensure a seamlessly smooth payout and retraction. With proper care and inspections, you can keep your Hybrid Hog in action for years.
We understand that lugging around equipment slows you down, so we made sure to create a lightweight and durable housing for the Hybrid Hog retractable lifeline. The Hybrid Hog comes in both a Hog 20′ Dual Class SRL and a Hog 30′ Dual Class SRL, and feature a stackable design that makes storage much easier and takes up less space.
These handy little Hybrid Hog SRL’s are built with innovation and functionality in mind and feature a built-in handle to allow for convenient carrying around the worksite. When you’re working at heights, trouble-free actions are essential to your safety, so we feature a labor-saving 360° swivel top connector to make it easier to attach your hybrid SRL to the anchor. We’ve also found that attaching your self-retracting lifeline bottom connection point to your D-Ring can be an awkward task, so we have included a user-friendly 360° swivel bottom connector to assist in a quick and successful connection.

How to Inspect Your Self Retracting Lifeline Correctly
Inspecting your equipment is an essential action when ensuring safety, there’s no point in wearing a lifeline if it’s going to fail when you actually need it. Using old or inadequate safety materials can have a detrimental outcome if a fall occurs. It’s important to inspect your gear prior to each and every use; your life is literally on the line, so take the time to examine.
Here are some tips on how to successfully check over your self-retracting lifeline.
Examine Metal Components:
The Fall Indicator: located at the connection point on your SRL. When the force indicator has been tripped, it indicates that fall-like impact forces have been applied on the self-retracting lifeline. If the fall indicator has been tripped, you will see a red indicator at the connection point and the device should be immediately removed from service.
The Snap Hook: Ensure the mechanism opens and closes properly. Press on the gate to confirm it cannot be forced open. Please check to validate that the snap hook is not bent or deformed in any way.
Inspect the Housing:
Ensure all fasteners are present and tight.
Inspect the label for serial number, batch number, manufacture date and part number.
Inspect the Cable:
If the cable gets tangled in the housing, it is no longer adequate for arresting a fall.
Inspect the entire length of the cable for cuts, burns, frays, kinks or tears.
Perform a Strike Test:
Grip the handle and quickly pull downward on the cable, place all the force above the fall indicator so you do not accidentally trigger it.
This will test the braking mechanism of your SRL
If you follow these tips and perform regular inspections, you will keep your SRL healthy for years of use. We also have handy downloadable safety inspection forms to help guide you through your SRL examination.

We also back our safety equipment with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so you can feel confident in your purchase.
