Description
Description
Arresting an accidental fall is only the first step in protecting a worker. A planned and prompt rescue is essential because remaining suspended in a harness can place excessive pressure on the legs and restrict circulation, potentially leading to serious complications.
The second-generation Malta Dynamics Deluxe Trauma Relief Strap is designed to help alleviate the forces of suspension while a fallen worker awaits rescue. Once deployed, the straps connect to create a supportive bridge beneath the feet, allowing the worker to stand and shift pressure away from the harness. The system can be used with both legs together or one leg at a time.
This updated design features a wide foot strap that accommodates work boots and supports better foot placement. Adjustable webbing allows the straps to be pre-set for the individual worker, while quick-connect buckles and user-friendly indicator tabs make deployment fast and straightforward. The ambidextrous design is easy to operate from either side of the harness and features a Velcro opening for fast deployment.
Lightweight and unobtrusive, the straps remain securely stowed at the worker’s hips without interfering with normal activity. When needed, they deploy quickly and provide a stable surface for the worker to stand on while awaiting rescue.
Easy to use and ready for immediate deployment, the second-generation Deluxe Trauma Relief Strap is a practical addition to a personal fall arrest system and an important part of a comprehensive rescue plan.
