The Malta Dynamics APEX Type 2 Safety Helmet delivers all-around impact protection for demanding jobsite environments. This helmet meets ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type 2 Class C standards, meaning it is rated for impact to the top, sides, and rear of the head. It is also tested to meet the EN12492 standard, providing an additional layer of performance and protection.
This model comes equipped with WaveOn™ Technology – a built-in, contactless chip that provides instant access to documentation. Simply wave a smartphone over the WaveOn™ decal to register or view training, inspection logs, and compliance documents, no app required.
Designed for comfort and stability, the APEX Type 2 helmet features a 6-point suspension system and an adjustable chin strap to ensure a low, secure, and comfortable fit. Strong integrated lamp clips make it compatible with standard elastic headlamps, and the helmet works with most ear protection attachments.
FACE SHIELD BRACKET
Face shield bracket designed for APEX® helmet compatibility. The weight-compensating bracket design minimizes front-heaviness when the shield is lifted. The LeverLock® attachment enables quick window replacement, and press-to-release slotted adapters allow fast removal from the helmet.
GREEN FACE SHIELD (SHADE 5)
Shade 5 nanoparticle face shield for gas welding and cutting applications. Designed for high-heat, high-impact environments. Toric curvature provides wide peripheral and downward visibility while reducing internal glare. Integrated chin guard adds protection from debris and splash.
CLEAR FACE SHIELD
Injection-molded clear shield for high temp/impact applications. Toric shape improves field of vision and reduces glare. Integrated chin guard provides added protection from debris and splash.
