The premium sheath protects the inner core from abrasion and wear and extends its overall life. The Malta Dynamics Concrete Anchor strap can be used as a permanent anchor during building construction or as a temporary anchor in applications such as wood framework, rebar work, or pipe racking. As always, be sure the selected attachment point can withstand anticipated fall loads and meet or exceed OSHA required anchorage strength requirements. When attached to a suitable structure, the Malta Dynamics Concrete Anchor Strap provides workers with a safe, compliant anchor point. Instructions for Installation: Select a safe location for the Concrete Anchor Strap. The location must meet the OSHA-required minimum anchor strength requirement. In cases of doubt please contact a qualified or competent person for more information. Once a section of wall of concrete column has been poured and cured, place Concrete Anchor Strap User Instruction Manual MaltaDynamics.com | 800-494-1840 12 Manual Revision Code: MD-CASUIM 11-12-18 the looped end of the anchor onto a vertical piece of steel rebar. After the anchor(s) are in place, continue to pour concrete, allowing it to cure fully. After removing forms, anchors will remain on the face of the column or in between the seams of shear walls. For Reinforced Concrete Floor Slabs: A three-foot length of rebar may pass through the loop end of the anchor strap and wire tied to remain tightly in place to the underside of the upper mat of rebar. This provides 3.5” of clearance. Concrete can then be poured, and the anchor strap will become cast into place for use after curing is finished. Free fall distance must not exceed six feet at any time. Locate the attachment point to the anchor at or above the connection point of the fall arrest equipment to the harness. Overview of Vertical Lifeline Assemblies A vertical lifeline assembly (VLA) is a complete connector kit for fall protection that consists of a high-strength poly-rope with a self-locking snap hook and a rope grab positioning device for you to use as your connector. A worker might typically use a fall protection vertical lifeline for applications like roofing, ladder climbing, general construction and tower climbing. A VLA can be used as part of a personal fall arrest system to bring the worker’s body to a safe stop if a fall occurs, but they are most commonly used in fall restraint scenarios to actively limit the distance from an anchor that a worker can reach so that they avoid the fall hazard completely. The Malta Dynamics temporary vertical assembly lifelines are made up of the strongest lifeline safety equipment available on the market today. The 3-strand poly-rope is reinforced to create a high-strength vertical lifeline that has a minimum breaking strength of 5,000 lbs. and supports a worker weight range from 130-310 lbs. The poly-rope is UV resistant and tested to meet the lifeline rope specification for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The vertical lifeline rope is terminated by stitching with a plastic cap and comes equipped with self-locking alloy steel snap hooks for a quick and reliable attachment to an anchor. The poly-rope seamlessly connects with a rope grab positioning device. The rope grab acts as the connector between the full body harness and the poly-rope and must be locked into position to ensure fall hazards are avoided. The KONG BACK-UP (8021NO400KK) is a fall arrester for a flexible anchor line developed for work at height fall protection systems.
Ideal for systems using a 10.5mm or 11mm EN1891 type A line.
Employing a toothless mechanism to reduce possible damage to the rope, this device is one of the least aggressive on the market for textile ropes .
Supplied with an OVALONE CARBON connector, it can even be used without a lanyard or energy absorber.
It features a selector lever that allows you to choose between two modes of use:

free sliding along the rope in both directions
upward sliding only, which allows the user to reduce the fall factor.

It may also be used as an ascender or as a rope clamp for rescue systems.

Also available in BACK-UP ANSI version.
Supplied with an OVALONE CARBON ANSI connector, this version also complies with ANSI Z359.15. A special lanyard with fall indicator is also included in the package .
