The Malta Dynamics High Strength Steel Locking Carabiner is designed to be durable and versatile. When you buy a carabiner, you’ll want something that can support and protect your if an accident were to occur. This heavy duty carabiner features a 0.84” gate that has been tested to the ANSI standard to withstand face and side loads up to 3,600 lbs. This large locking carabiner is designed to allow you to safely attach personal fall protection components like lifelines and lanyards to an anchorage point with maximum ease and security.

This heavy duty carabiner is self-closing and self-locking. The steel twist lock carabiner mechanism adds another level of security by requiring two specific actions to successfully open it. Using one hand, you twist the ¼ turn barrel to reveal the carabiner nose and then pull back on the gate to fully open it with the other hand. Once you have latched on – or off – of your desired destination, simply let the gate go and it will spring back into the closed and locked position automatically.

This metal locking carabiner is made from rugged and reliable materials so that you can use it in any condition with the confidence that it’ll be tough enough for the job. Complete support for workers weighing between 130-310 lbs. This big carabiner is forged with heavy duty alloy steel and strong zinc plating to help prolong the life of the connector and to prevent rust and corrosion in almost any environment including extended exposer to cold and warm conditions.

Installation Instructions:

Open the Dual Bracket by simultaneously pressing the release button at the end of the pin and at bracket loop.
Install compatible self-retracting lifelines (SRLs) directly to bracket loop (the fixed forged side, not the sliding pin side). Do not installSRLs with carabiners. Maximum 2 SRLs per Dual Bracket.
At webbing under harness dorsal D-ring, insert the locking pin beneath webbing. Never connect a Dual Bracket to the harness D-ring
Fully close and lock the Dual Bracket and ensure the red indicator on the inside of the sliding pin is fully invisible when locked.
