    PARAPET ANCHOR

SKU: A6316. Does your jobsite feature a flat roof surrounded by a parapet wall? If it does, then you need a way to anchor your self-retracting lifelines (SRLs). At Malta Dynamics, our parapet clamp system allows you to put your SRL in place with a sturdy connection that helps support weight and keep your workers safe. The reusable device is easy to install and won't cause damage to the wall. Your workers can use our parapet anchor on walls varying in thickness from 2.36" to 14.1". On a jobsite, time is critical, but you never want to compromise your workers' safety. Equipment that offers intuitive usage is the best type to have on your site, as it cuts back on time without putting your employees in danger. It takes just a minute or two to secure the parapet clamp, and your workers can adjust it to reposition around the worksite. You can feel confident in the sturdiness of our design. Our temporary parapet edge protection provides a practical solution in areas where you otherwise couldn't use an SRL. Put Safety First When You Use Our Parapet Grabber The anchor comes with specific directions for installation and application. Ensure your workers read and understand the instructions, as their safety depends on using the parapet clamp correctly. For example, you need a minimum wall height of 9' to use our parapet anchor. Instructions for Installation of Parapet Clamp Fall Protection The Parapet Anchor is intended to be installed on a parapet wall up to 14.1 inches (360mm) thick. Unscrew the set screws so the points do not protrude into the anchor slot. Remove the detent pin and move the adjustable arm back far enough to allow the clamp to fit over the parapet wall. Make sure the top surface within the anchor slot is fully seated on the parapet wall. Slide the adjustable arm toward the parapet wall and reinsert the locking pin through the position setting holes. Tighten each set screw until it makes contact with the parapet wall. Hand tighten the screws until snug. Excessive torque can damage the parapet wall or the parapet wall anchor. • STANDING SEAM ROOF ANCHOR

    STANDING SEAM ROOF ANCHOR

SKU: A6317. Why Standing Seam Roofs Are Different All types of structures use standing seam roofs, from commercial and residential buildings to industrial complexes. When you work on a standing seam roof, it's not the same as working on other types of roofs. You'll need to approach anchorage differently than other types of roofing. Working on a slanted roof requires careful concentration because it may be easier to fall. You also need to use a different type of anchor than for wood and concrete. The anchor point must demonstrate extreme durability while also being strong enough to offer the best fall protection. The anchor should secure to the roof without causing damage. Standing seam roofs have either symmetrical or asymmetrical panels. The legs are different lengths on the latter and the variances will determine where you stick the anchor point for optimal fall protection. You don’t want the anchor to penetrate the panels, and you must be careful when placing them on the raised interlocking seams that pull each panel together. Working on a pitched metal roof requires the utmost care. Taking preventative measures for this job area can keep your workers safe and protect them from injury in the event of a fall. At Malta Dynamics, we offer a standing seam anchor to keep your workers safe on standing seam metal roofs. With our metal roof anchors, your employees can work freely knowing they'll be protected in the event of an accident. Our standing seam metal roof anchor has a swivel anchor point, allowing workers 360 degrees of motion while they work. We manufacture this product from sturdy aluminum and stainless steel, and our design makes it easy to install with no damage to the roof. In just a few minutes, you can fasten the standing seam safety anchor securely. Once you install this equipment, your workers can attach their self-retracting lifelines (SRLs) and focus on their jobs. How to Ensure the Standing Seam Anchor Points Are in Place Be careful not to over-tighten the anchor points on the standing seam. This could dent the roof. Instead, tighten to the point where you can't move it anymore, but not so much that you need to tug the wrench. Test the standing seam safety anchor before you put your total weight on it. Our customers often say they're impressed by how well it holds. Stay in Compliance With Standing Seam Fall Protection From Malta Dynamics You can protect your workers and your business with the best safety equipment from Malta Dynamics. We have been assisting companies in construction, masonry, manufacturing and many other sectors. Like all products at Malta Dynamics, the Permanent Roof Anchor is entirely compliant with all applicable ANSI and OSHA regulations. You’ll need to ensure the roof is structurally sound and that the permanent roof anchor is not damaged in any way. You will also need to select a site that meets OSHA requirements, including minimized swing fall hazards and a limited free-fall distance of less than 6 feet. All employees must be trained by a Competent Person, as defined by OSHA. Explore our training options if your team needs a refresher on fall protection awareness. Permanent roof anchor installation instructions are as follows: Ensure you are working on a roof constructed of wood, the permanent roof anchor is not designed for metal roof materials.  Remove 1-2 pieces of the ridge cap if installing on residential roofing with asphalt shingles, shakes, or tile. Center the anchorage device on the ridge of the framing assembly and position it so the nail holes on the center of the legs are directly centered with the middle of the roof framing member. Use 16d common nails to secure the bracket with all provided nail holes. Types of Anchors

There are a wide range of anchors, each designed to fufill a specific need based on the job site and conditions.

Beam Trolley Anchors

Designed to roll along I-beams, beam trolleys give workers the mobility they need while staying securely tied off. The trolley mechanism includes safety stops to prevent accidental detachment from the beam end.

Fixed Beam Anchors

These clamp securely to structural steel, offering a steady anchor point where mobility isn’t required. Installation requires no welding or permanent modifications to the existing structure.

Wire Rope Slings

A flexible option for wrapping around beams, pipes, or other structures, perfect for temporary or hard-to-reach tie-off points. The wire rope construction provides excellent cut resistance and maintains strength even when bent around sharp edges.

Temporary Roof Anchors

Quick to install and remove, these anchors are built for short-term jobs and fast-paced environments. Their lightweight design allows easy transport between job sites without sacrificing holding strength.

Permanent Roof Anchors

Designed to stay put, permanent roof anchors provide long-lasting fall protection for ongoing maintenance or facility work. These anchors typically include weatherproof covers to protect the connection point when not in use.

Truss Anchors

Built for wood-frame construction, these anchors attach directly to trusses without compromising the structure. The design distributes loads across multiple truss members to prevent localized stress concentrations.

Billboard Anchors

Built for signage work, these anchors offer secure tie-off on vertical structures like billboards and towers. Their compact profile minimizes interference with advertising materials and maintenance access.

Swivel Anchors

With 360° rotation, swivel anchors reduce lifeline tangles and let workers move more freely while staying connected. The swivel mechanism is sealed to prevent dirt and debris from affecting smooth rotation.

Discover The Malta Dynamics Difference

At Malta Dynamics, everything we do is driven by one goal: keeping workers safe. Our equipment is built by safety professionals who know the job—from construction sites to industrial plants to maintenance crews working at height. We’ve spent years in the field, so we understand the real challenges workers face—and we design solutions that meet those needs head-on.

OSHA Compliant Anchor Points for Fall Arrest

Our OSHA-compliant anchor points help companies meet safety standards while giving crews reliable, secure tie-off options. Each anchor is made with high-strength materials that meet or exceed required breaking strength, so workers can focus on the task at hand with full confidence in their gear.

We also offer hands-on training to support proper installation, use and inspection of fall protection systems. Training options include:

Competent Person Training

Learn how to identify hazards, evaluate systems and supervise work at height. This comprehensive course covers OSHA regulations, hazard assessment techniques, and proper rescue procedures to ensure workplace compliance. Participants receive certification upon completion and gain the authority to make critical safety decisions on active job sites.

Authorized Person Training

Get the knowledge needed to safely use fall protection equipment on the job. The training includes hands-on practice with harnesses, lanyards, and anchor systems to build confidence and competency. Workers learn proper inspection techniques, equipment limitations, and emergency response procedures to protect themselves and their teammates.

Fall Protection Inspection Training

Understand inspection procedures to keep gear in compliance and workers protected. This detailed program teaches visual and tactile inspection methods, documentation requirements, and when to remove equipment from service. Attendees learn to identify wear patterns, damage indicators, and manufacturing defects that could compromise safety performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of anchor should I use for residential roofing jobs?

+

Temporary roof anchors or truss anchors are typically the best choice for residential roofing. They’re easy to install and remove and are designed to work with wood-frame construction.

Can Malta Dynamics anchors be used in vertical and overhead applications?

+

Yes. Many of our anchors, including wire rope slings and fixed beam anchors, are suitable for overhead and vertical use when installed correctly and per manufacturer instructions.

Do I need to inspect anchors before each use?

+

Yes. OSHA requires that all fall protection equipment, including anchors, be inspected before each use. Look for signs of wear, corrosion, or damage and remove any questionable anchors from service immediately.

How do I know if an anchor point meets OSHA requirements?

+

To comply with OSHA standards, anchor points must be capable of supporting 5,000 lbs per worker or be designed, installed and used under the supervision of a qualified person as part of a complete personal fall arrest system.
