A fall protection anchor point is a crucial part of any PFAS, Personal Fall Arrest System, the fall protection anchor connects to a structure and provides a secure location where horizontal lifeline systems,, lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, vertical lifeline assemblies, or other deceleration devices attach to prevent falls. According to OSHA regulations, these anchors must:

Be capable of supporting at least 5,000 lbs per attached worker, or
