Change Quickly, Or Die
Many business owners seek out the secret to success. But, too many times, businesses are unwilling to change. They have created a niche and the idea of change doesn’t seem attractive. Malta Dynamics’ CEO Damian Lang, though, believes that if you’re not willing to change, you’re destined to fail.
Take, for example, Harley Davidson. The highly-successful company experienced a 50 percent drop in sales the last few years. Lang attributes this to the fact that the company didn’t change and cater to the younger generation.
As he met with his team during a recent retreat, Damian pondered how change is a catapult for success. He shares his justification for fast-moving change in business in this month’s article.
A Few Key Points:
- Damian’s team recognized that approaching change in slow fashion – similar to slowly paddling down a river – isn’t always the best strategy
- Businesses should approach change as if they’re navigating rough, rapid waters
- Planning is essential in any type of business
- Professionals should dig deep to discover how to expand your services
